Black and Latinx Community Control: Mission
Black and Latinx Community Control of Health (Community Control) was founded by and for Black and Latinx communities.We concerned about the health of our communities. We are an intergenerational group of Black and Latinx LGBTQ+ individuals and communities whose unapologetic work for self-determination is envisioned through the intersections of health, healthcare, economics, social engagement, and spirituality with a goal of dismantling systems of racism, bias and discrimination that have historically harmed Black and Latinx communities while empowering Black and Latinx community members to be the voice and stewards of healthy choices and lifestyles for our communities.
